Hi, I’m Nick!
A Seattle wedding photographer and owner of Nick Hanyok Imaging LLC. When I’m not photographing Seattle weddings you’ll find me backpacking in Olympic, Mt. Rainier National Park or relaxing in the San Juan Islands. I love exploring new places and immersing myself in different cultures.
Seattle has my heart and soul. The beautiful landscape of Washington is where my creativity is rejuvenated so in 2021 I moved here! I grew up on the Chesapeake Bay and there’s nothing like boating under moonlight. I love tacos, Thai food, board games, all kinds of documentaries and shooting black & white film for personal projects.
I’ve been lucky to be recognized among some of the best Seattle wedding photographers in my short time here. I’m even more lucky to have some of the best couples a wedding photographer could ask for.

Nick was incredible to work with. Included in the package was an engagement session, which was the perfect opportunity to break the ice. My now husband and I both felt very uncomfortable prior to the session being photographed and Nick made it comfortable. He was easy to work with, giving us direction when we didn’t know what to do, but also capturing the un-posed moments as well. Nick kept things lighthearted and personable but was always very professional as well. We weren’t nervous, knowing that we already knew and trusted him from the engagement session. Nick was also flexible and moved quickly when our first look location was unexpectedly crowded by a street fair that we didn’t know about. The photos came out beautifully and we’d definitely recommend working with him.

Nick went above and beyond in many aspects to support us during our engagement session, our rehearsal, and on our big day. Nick made us feel very comfortable while taking our pictures. Neither of us were particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but Nick posed us naturally in a lighthearted and fun way. He was proactive in asking which friends and family we wanted to get shots with, and took the first-look photos very seriously. We appreciated his professionalism: he managed to simultaneously capture all of the important moments, while at the same time hanging in the background, remaining out of the way of guests. Phone / FaceTime
Let’s get to know each other! Tell me about how you met, about your wedding day, I’ll tell you all about me, my approach and why I have so many 5 star reviews.

Contract & Retainer
When you decide on me, and ya should, I’ll send you over a contract and a 25% retainer invoice. Complete these and check photographer off your list.

Engagement Sesh
Let’s plan your perfect engagement session. You’ll pick a spot, I can help with locations, we’ll meet there and have a blast getting some amazing photos of you both! Your gallery will be delivered in 4 weeks.

Pre-Wedding Stuff
I’ll send you over a questionnaire. Then we’ll have a final call before the wedding to go over everything. I’ll answer all your questions and send you over a timeline.

WEDDING DAY
It’s WEDDING DAY! You’re going to have the most beautiful wedding ever and I’ll be there to document every single minute of it. I’ll send ya a sneak peek in a few days and then the full gallery in about 10 weeks!
