Frequently asked questions

Should we do an engagement session?
I always suggest that my couples go for the engagement session. It gets you comfortable in front of my camera, gets you some beautiful photos and it helps me know what poses and prompts work best for you.
What do I shoot with?
Nikon all day everyday! I shoot with 2 mirrorless Nikon Z7iis and a bunch of different lenses to make sure I get
the most beautiful shots in any environment. I also have high-end lighting to use when needed.
Do I help with timelines?
Absolutely! I’ve shot hundreds of weddings so I’m more than happy to share and build a timeline specific to your day. I can also share my advice on pretty much anything wedding related and refer other weddings vendors if you need them!
Do I offer prints, albums or wall art?
Absolutely! All prints, wall art, linen photobooks, leather layflat albums, Christmas cards, save the dates, wedding invites, framed and matted prints, and a ton more can be designed and ordered right in the gallery I send to you!
When do we get our gallery?
Engagement sessions are delivered within 4 weeks and full wedding galleries are usually delivered in about 8-10 weeks. Sneak peeks are delivered within one week.
Am I licensed and insured?
I sure am and I can provide any documents that your venue may need.
Do I offer custom collections?
Of course. If I have your date available I can customize a collection thats perfect for you.
Do I have backup photographers?
I absolutely have back up photographers in the extremely unlikely event something prevents me from shooting your wedding. These photographers have worked with me, are trained by me and know exactly what my couples expect.
How long have I been shooting weddings?
I’ve been shooting weddings now since 2018. I also frequently attended workshops & classes to strengthen my skills and become a better photographer.
Do I offer videography?
I myself do not shoot video professionally, I went to college specifically for photography however; I’ve partnered
with some awesome videographers and I’ll be glad to send you their contact info.
Do we need a full day of coverage?
The Carrick collection is perfect for days that include a tea ceremony, door games or a tradition the morning of your wedding. You can also use hours in this collection for rehearsal or welcome dinners or a send off brunch.
